The summer is THE BEST. I once tweeted about how much I miss summer and a girl wrote back saying, "Once summer comes, you're going to want it to be Fall. Just be happy." But guess what, folks? I DON'T want it to be Fall and I DON'T want summer to end! As I've mentioned before, my parents built a lake house up at Bear Lake and it is so dreamy. It's really cool to see their dream finally come to life. We have been trying to spend every second up at the lake house. Between school and work, it's been hard, but I'm proud to say that we've got to get away quite a few times, including this weekend.
I also learned how to shoot. Though I like to consider myself an archery kind of girl, I faced my fear and shot a gun. It scared the living crap out of me. When the shell came out, it hit me in the head and I was freaking out, thinking I shot myself. Yes Yes, so so weird. But I like it. I dig it. Now, I kinda wanna get into hunting. What?
In August, we have a big family trip where my sister (who lives in Idaho) and my brother (who lives in California) and their families can come up. It's safe to say that I am beyond excited. Taking 1 week off and spending it with those I love most sounds absolutely phenomenal.
