I received an anonymous
question last week. It was: Do you believe that the Holy Spirit can speak to any believer
willing to listen? I thought this answer was so perfect. I loved it. Because I
have had some friends who are praying and wondering if this church is the true
church, and they are wondering how they receive their answer! Well, the spirit
has A LOT to do with it.
In Moroni 7, it takes about the Spirit of
Christ. The Spirit of Christ is given to every man. The Light of Christ can
influence people and help them to go in the right direction. & the Holy
Ghost can work through the Light of Christ. When we are baptized, we are given
the gift of the Holy Ghost, which we can talk about later. But let’s take an
example: If you are reading the Book of Mormon and you are wondering if it is
true, you pray about it, and if you pray, believing it is true, and your heart
is soft, you will receive your answer through the Light of Christ. This video about receiving revelation and answers is absolutely amazing. And I encourage you to watch it:
